Click to expand.Didn't see that!! Thought it was a bit weird. Should be the latest drivers as I only installed the card on Friday and went on the nvidia site to download them, but i'll double check.
Sorry for creating a new thread but the original Dead Space 2 thread was too old to use. I have picked this up in the Origin 'sale' for £4.99. The only problem is and its a biggy, is when I select any resolution resembling decent levels, I get a black screen, even at 720p.
Edit: Downloaded the beta drivers and still the same issue. When it loads up and gets to menu screen it displays in 4:3 (black bars at each side) When I change the resolution to 1280 x 720, it black screens. Bizarrely I can go to very high settings but it wont let me turn full-screen on even at high settings at 720p. Windows 7 ultimate sp1 64 bit download. I cant beleive NO ONE has figured this out yet. The suggested to edit that folder is ridiculous and unnecessary. I however, have found the BEST SOLUTION and you dont have to edit that stupid file!
PUT THE SHORTCUT TO DEAD SPACE 2 ON YOUR DESKTOP (DONT OPEN THROUGH ORIGIN) THEN, RIGHT CLICK ON THE DEAD SPACE 2 SHORTCUT AND CLICK 'RUN AS ADMINSTRATOR' BAM You can now change resolutions and do whatever you want without that stupid black screen and you dont have to edit that file. Youre welcome and enjoy! ***NOTE - YOU MAY NOT EVEN HAVE TO RIGHT CLICK AND RUN AS ADMINSTRATOR. AS LONG AS YOU OPEN DEAD SPACE FROM THE DEAD SPACE 2.EXE FILE AND NOT THROUGH ORIGIN YOU SHOULD BE GOOD.
