Driver Tuner Dm 800 Clone Images

I got the Tuner A: (empty) nothing issue with my 2nd DM800 clone, I have read through previous threads with similar issues and still haven\'t managed to find a fix or an answer on drivers relating to tuners. I have tested the tuner from the box which was giving the Empty tuner problem and it is working in another clone box perfectly fine, so I know it\'s not the tuner. Is there a way to install drivers for certain tuners directly to the box to see if this will fix the issue? As it seems to be more software related than hardware. I have tested various images and all have the same problem, currently on one of the latest patch OpenPLi images.

Any suggestions would be great, Tuner is a: Alps BSBE2-801A. This is what I was afraid of, should of bought my clone closer to home, going to cost a good bit to send it back to china if it is the board. Has anyone returned anything back to mainland china if so whats the best way to go about it and who to use to send it back?I sent my whole box back which was a risk as ive read they smash any electrical items that go through customs in China. I would persevere and try other images with different bootloaders new and older versions. See if any drivers are in the ts panel and change the power supply thats another known problem. Guessing you have tried another tuner so take out motheboard and send that back on its own. Are you in UK?

Cost me 27 quid to send whole box back with Post Office that was cheapest option. Only other option is to buy another box or motherboard it might work out cheaper that way in the long run. Thats what i initally tried with the tuner. I used the tspanen plugin.addons.sim2-addons.sim2-dm800-drivers and I downloaded dreambox-dvb-modules_2.6.18-7.4-dm81-sim-2-mfaraj57, I also upgraded the bootloader to 84# so not sure if that halped too.Did you install TS Panel manually or through OpenPLi plugin manager? I tried installing it before and it kept coming up with errors? I think it may just be a driver issue as everything else seems to be working fine, tested with another psu and still works it just doesn\'t detect the tuner correctly. Im on 84B at the minute, would it be worth trying a different bootloader?

I need the patched drivers for the dm800se tuner. After a wrong step.(uninstall of the TS panel) i loose my tuner!!!

Thanks As I know tuner is bcm7401.ko and than trai these new link.Like you see the uper posts I have the same problem on last Open PLI nightly build(empty tuner) untill I put over the Total comander bcm7401.ko driver in /lib/modules/2.6.18-7.4-dm800/extra folder and now runnig just fine.Regards.
